History of NOTI
The NOTI Company was born in 2005 out of passion for modern design and the 30-year business experience of Mr. Ryszard Balcerkiewicz – the owner of Balma SA, the production plant specialising in office furniture.
From the very beginning, NOTI has been consistently following its motto: “First and foremost design”. To us, design means a well-thought process in which we combine striving for the best product quality with the talent of top Polish designers. We cooperate with: Piotr Kuchciński, Tomek Rygalik, Tomasz Augustyniak, Renata Kalarus, Jerzy Langier, Grzegorz Niwiński, Jerzy Porębski, Anna Hrecka and Małgorzata Bronikowska.
We create furniture characterised by a simple and elegant form, functionality, comfort and durability. Our furniture inspires people to create modern residential, hotel or office interiors (Noti Contract). The multifunctional systems of furniture as well as the wide range of high quality upholstery fabrics (Alcantara, wool, leather, Designers Guild collection) make it possible for our customers to design individualised interiors that match their needs, taste and lifestyle.
Design is constantly changing, therefore we keep looking for new ideas, talents and innovative technological solutions. As we are committed to supporting development of the Polish design industry, we cooperate with the University of Arts in Poznań by organising workshops and contests for young designers. Prize-winning designs have a chance to be implemented. We also take part in design promoting events such as Arena Design, Łódź Design Festival, Gdynia Design Days.
The high quality of NOTI’s design is confirmed by numerous prizes including: GODŁO PRODECO 2005 and 2006, Elle Decoration prize, Poznań International Fair Gold Medals 2006, 2008 and Honourable Mention 2009 in the RED DOT design award contest.
Our furniture is safe for both the users and the natural environment. NOTI operates in compliance with the ISO 9000 standards, applying the technological experience gained by the furniture producer Balma S.A.
