History of Gubi
GUBI is run by Jacob Gubi Olsen – the eldest son of the founders of the Danish design company, Lisbeth and Gubi Olsen.
Since 1967, innovative thinking, functionality, quality and aesthetics have been the main elements in the development of GUBI’s furniture collection.
GUBI has received international prizes and recognition for its designs, including GUBI Chair 1 and GUBI Chair 2. The Museum of Modern Art in New York has selected GUBI Chair 1 to be part of its permanent collection.
GUBI is located in a 2,000sqm warehouse in Copenhagen’s Frihavn district.
