With its S 55 chair series, Thonet has developed the perfect chair for both the private and contract sectors. Based on the cantilever construction principle, the S 55 series displays a pure and classic design.
This chair is an elegant all-rounder that can be deployed in conference- and meeting rooms, seminar rooms and also in the home.
The S 55 is available either with or without armrests and in two backrest heights. The frame is made of chromed tubular steel, while the seat is made of moulded wood. Fully upholstered using cold-cured foam padding, the series is supremely comfortable. Both leather and fabric covers are available. Black elastomeric is used for the armrest padding. A stackable model is also available.
